Press to enlarge People with hypothyroidism may have difficulty managing their diabetes because the metabolism of glucose is altered - there aren't enough thyroid hormones for regular metabolism. On the thyroid gland are subject all other glands in the body. Reduced thyroid hormones decrease the blood circulation through the pancreas and thus the insulin secreted in the blood diminish. Further the disease can take a turn for the worse and the diabetes gradually to pass to diabetes type I - insulin dependant. The pancreas is located behind the liver and is where the hormone insulin is produced. Insulin is used by the body to store and utilize glucose. Insulin is a hormone secreted by the pancreas in response to increased glucose levels in the blood.
Once the patient has begun to take insulin intravenously the things can never come back even with Impulse therapy, because the insulin distroys the pancreas cells. There is a great analogy with the thyroid gland, but for the time being we can not recover this gland.
With the Impulse therapy diabetes type II is affected and it's not necessarily to take in any medicaments.
